Our brief for this 100 day celebration was Mini Mouse, in baby pink and gold. The giant balloon arch made a fabulous and unmistakable statement for all the guests to see.

We created custom gold Mini Mouse shaped place mats for all the guests. They looked great on the tables. All guests also received a Mini Mouse themed chocolate freckle.

The fun Mini Mouse air walk balloon added character to the event. She fitted in perfectly next to the dessert buffet table. We created the custom Annie sign for the client to keep.

Our tee pees and colorful rugs provided entertainment for the kids. It gave them their own place where they could play with their toys, but still be part of the party.

Our fun drink dispensers meant that guests (and the kids) could serve themselves a non-alcoholic drink at any time. We had created fun drink me tags for the mini milk bottles, which always adds to the theme.

The buffet table was also appropriately themed with our log raisers and hessian cloth. It’s the attention to details like continuing the theme on the food table that brings the whole event theme together.

60th Birthday Party

Our client’s brief for styling and theming her husband’s 60th birthday party was left pretty open to our interpretation. We were conscious of creating a suitable color palette and styling solution appropriate for a bloke’s birthday party.60th birthday party cake tableWe chose blue, green and silver as our color palette for the birthday party. We created a custom circle bunting, which we hung under the main deck and around the backyard. The custom bunting added a splash of colour and looked quite sophisticated.circle paper bunting_hire

balloon entrance 60th birthday partyWe organized two giant balloon columns with large number 60 foil balloons at the entrance, which made an unforgettable welcome statement. It really announced that guests had arrived at the 60th birthday party event.paella at partyThe client had organized for two huge pans of paella to be cooking immediately as guests turned the corner to enter into the birthday party area. This created a delicious aroma that greeted the guests.Polaroid Station hireOur event styling and props hire included a Polaroid photo station, which was placed on a table so guests could help themselves. They used our birthday photo props to hold up while having their photos taken. After they had taken their Polaroid, they clipped it up on a mini peg line that we had setup. The peg line was a great alternative to a photo album. It also allowed the guests to see all the Polaroid photos that had taken on the day and provided a talking point.60th birthday balloonsWe filled the lounge room with green, blue and white helium 60th printed balloons. We included our custom circle bunting across the front of the main cake table. This was a great way of continuing the theme of the bunting throughout the party venue.excavator birthday cakeThe client had organized an amazing themed birthday cake. It was in the shape of a bull dozer, complete with edible soil. To complete the birthday cake table styling we added two bouquets of bright yellow flowers. We were careful with the flower selection, to ensure that the fresh flower arrangements were ‘manly’ enough for the 60th birthday party event. We always find that fresh flowers are an essential component of any event styling.60th birthday cake tableWe also organized a fully equipped coffee cart, complete with a barista. The hired coffee cart was a huge success as guests could order their favourite hot beverage at any time during the birthday party. For anyone wanting something stronger than a coffee, our expert bar staff had that all under control.60th birthday party decorationsA birthday party is not complete without the music. We organized a jukebox as the music for the party. It gave guests something to do during the afternoon by selecting their favourite party tunes. It really helped to create a great atmosphere for 60th birthday party.60th birthday party themeWe organized a selection of petite four desserts including: delicious hazelnut and cranberry meringue cakes, carrot cakes and Pistachio raspberry teacakes. They were a tasty treat for the guests to eat during the afternoon. The shot glass desserts in flavours including: Chocolate mousse with crumbled honeycomb; Espresso and grand marnier Tiramisu; vanilla bean and candied lime Panna cotta; and Strawberry cream cheesecake with a coconut almond crumble also proved to be super delicious.60th birthday cake table decorations

Gatsby Themed Party

You’ve picked a fun theme, but don’t have time to make it all happen…well that’s what happened with our fabulous clients Tim and Sally. With only a few working days as our lead time, we pulled together a glitzy and glamorous Great Gatsby themed event for the client.gatsby party hire Melbourne

Our popular gold votives and tea candles lined the passage from the front door through to the back deck. They created a warm and golden ambience as guests entered the house.gatsby themed entranceWe had a sparkling gold curtain hanging at the front of the house and also from the ceiling in the lounge room. 1920's decanters gatsby themeWe hired a vintage 1920’s black and gold car that became a backdrop for guests to have their photo taken in front of.  It was a perfect talking point when guests arrived at the house, in all of their 1920’s finery.gatsby vintage car

gatsby themed cocktail partyWe installed a huge Gatsby banner at the back of the pool deck. Guests were able to see the sign from inside the house that contributed to the excitement. The famous Gatsby ‘green lantern’ was a focal point for the guests.gatsby green lantern and gold signWe had a bar setup which had a gorgeous black tulle skirt around it. It was truly eye catching and had guests commenting right from the start. Our bar staff were also dressed to match the Gatsby theme, which tied in perfectly with the guests in their fancy dress. Alice in Wonderland Baby Shower

Imagine this…as the guests arrive at the gateway they see a colorful sign that says “this way, that way”. Yes, it set the tone for an Alice in Wonderland inspired baby shower extravaganza.keyhole entrance baby showerThe theme was a bright and colorful Alice in Wonderland baby shower. The client wanted to have a high tea set up with tea cups and saucers but also include some elements of books, as the mother-to-be loves to read. Our fabulous client gave us free reign to create an awesome bespoke design in response to their baby shower brief…and so we did!signage alice in wonderlandAs soon as the guests arrives at the gateway they instantly knew what the theme was, because of the ‘this way, that way’ sign post. It was colorful and set the tone for a mad and slightly whacky day ahead.alice in wonderland signJust through the gateway guests were treated to a crazy assortment of Alice theme props hanging in the trees. Giant 1m tall Queen of Hearts playing cards were suspended in the trees up the drive way. Together with an oversized gold key and a red clock, it informed guests of a fun day ahead. party hire propsAdditional signage was practical and guided guests to the parking area. Once on foot, they were treated to an Alice spectacular!key hole entranceWe created a keyhole entrance for the guests to enter through, a little bit like going down the rabbit hole. We designed a large black back drop with an opening in the shape of a keyhole in the middle of it. We deliberately made the height of the key hole entrance just shorter than average head height. This meant that guests had to duck their heads down to get through the opening. This created a real sense of ‘making an entrance” and having the guests become part of the performance of the decorations. The guests loved it!paper flowers and giant cardLarge hand made paper roses filled the backdrop and added a splash of red color to the otherwise black background. Several flowers were pinned to the reverse side of the backdrop. This helped add some color to the party side and not just limited the color to the outside.baby shower themeTo play on the saying “you’re late, you’re late”, clocks were in abundance throughout the decorated baby shower space. Three clocks were hung in open backed, gold frames in front of the black backdrop. It was a fun way to add the element of ‘time’ to the Alice themed baby shower.mad hatters clock

They were on tables and even suspended from the roof.The table was specifically styled to provide a 360o spectacular of food and props. Peacock Baby Shower Theme

We recently styled and organised a peacock themed baby shower for our very own event planner, Melina. She wanted to have a bit of fun with a colorful theme for her baby shower event.

baby shower melbourneTeal, purple, blue and gold were the main colours we worked with and collectively they created the stunning peacock baby shower theme. The custom made chalk board sign gave guests all the information about Melina’s pregnancy. It was a fun and very popular sign. Our three-tier nappy cake was a highlight on our peacock dessert table with the theme coloured ribbon and peacock feathers.

The lolly buffet and dessert table brought the colours together and completed the themed baby shower.

The beautiful peacock cupcakes and cake pops were made by one of our favourite cake suppliers. They did an amazing job fulfilling our specific brief and guests absolutely loved the white mud cake flavour.

Our custom made invitations comprised of a purple invitation box with a gold doilie wrapped around it. When the guests received their invite they had to unwrap the box as a present, and inside was all the information about the baby shower.baby shower invitations

Each guest filled out a wish and advice for Melina’s baby and placed it in our golden frame. This is a great little addition to the baby shower and a great keepsake for Melina.
