We received a slightly panicked phone call from Donna…she was organising her daughter’s baby shower. She knew what she wanted, but had run out of time to organise all the party hire items and to do the styling. My Perfect Event quickly went and met with Donna. We had a talk about her ideas and what was achievable in the very short timeframe. We did a measure and set off to talk to our suppliers and set about creating this fun and beautiful Unicorn themed baby shower.
Donna wanted the baby shower main table to be the feature of the room. She had a very large frame on the wall that she wanted to cover up. So she removed the frame and then we disguised the rest with our beautiful shear organza curtains. They really created a wonderful backdrop against which to create this unicorn themed baby shower.
Once the backdrop was organised, we moved the table back into place and started the layering of the styling elements. We provided the party hire items and delivered them and set them up in the right places.
The baby shower was also utilising an outside undercover area. It wasn’t the nicest area, until we worked our magic and transformed the space, suitable for a unicorn themed baby shower.
We created some beautiful mauve and gold hand made paper flowers. We hung these against an opaque white fabric backdrop. This backdrop hid the cars and all the workshop area of the garage. You would never know what was behind this curtain!
With the right styling elements, this unicorn themed baby shower was a real hit. It looked amazing as soon as guests walked into the room, and it set a fun tone for the baby shower party.
